Cia Rinne’s art and poetry work with language in a practice that is defined by humor and play with word’s meaning and sound. By moving seamlessly between languages, turning, and twisting the meaning of sentences and breaking down the words into smaller components new implications are created – both visual and semantic. Many of her readings have been recorded and accompanied by music, functioning as stand-alone sound pieces.

Marabouparken konsthall thereby invites you to a reading performed by Cia Rinne and a public talk with Rinne and Martin Grennberger, writer and curator. The talk will center on the sonority and rhythm of poetry and the readings transformation of language.
