What is a book? Can it be a memory, a dream, a portal or a room?

In this course, you have the opportunity to create your own artistic book together with artists Hannah Wiker Wikström and Oscar Gränse.

In connection with this spring’s exhibition, we are organizing a series of workshops for children and youth, 6 years and up. We look at the exhibition together and think about what a book can be, what it can look like and what it can contain. Can a book be art? In Marja-Leena Sillanpää’s exhibition, we show 2,500 books – some made of paper, some made of fabric, some with text, some without. Beautiful, ugly, repaired, sensitive and angry books. How do you want your book to look?

After the course, we will show our books in a small exhibition.
