The world’s fastest art gallery
Help! In one hour, an art gallery will open – and you are the ones responsible for this! You need to quickly appoint art gallery managers, curators, technicians and artists, who will improvise an art gallery in ultra-slow motion from a room, a corner, a portfolio, a cardboard box, a patch of grass… Art must be created and works hung, the boundaries of the exhibition space must be drawn, opening speeches written and the ceremony prepared! At the end of the hour, the art gallery will open with opening speeches, screenings and mingling. Maybe there will also be a reviewer… Do you have what it takes to open the world’s fastest art gallery?
Collage – colors, shapes and patterns
Collage became a widespread artistic phenomenon in the early 20th century and has been a technique and form of expression that artists have continually returned to ever since. We cut and paste and experiment with colors, shapes, images and patterns.
Under the guidance of Marabouparken konsthall’s pedagogy manager Henning Rehnström Ring, the group is guided through different materials, techniques, themes and artistic directions in a refreshing, team-building and unpredictable experiment. The workshop can easily be adapted with thematic content related to a specific activity, conference or meeting.
