Silence Answers All – We Are Not Silent

Welcome to a different dance experience

• At Marabouparken konsthall.
• On International Women’s Day, March 8th.
• With dancers from Dance for Parkinson, Neurodans and the professional dance training at the Ballet Academy.

Dancers from the group Dans för Parkinson [Dance for Parkinson] and Neurodans at Balettakademin in Stockholm have together explored the space and the exhibition Silence Answers All at Marabouparken konsthall.

Now they report their experience of the exhibition – through dance and movement. This together with students from the professional dance training at Balettakademin.

We ask ourselves;

• Which bodies are allowed to be seen in dance, in a konsthall, and in front of an audience?
• What are considered important professions, important people, important knowledge in society?
• Who is the artist, what is the artwork, and who is allowed to be artistic?

WE WILL NOT REMAIN SILENT

Where pain has screamed for itself,
But health is still silent;
Therefore, they don’t talk about me,
As if I didn’t exist.
