Anna Kinbom works with text based performances, micro histories and alter egos. She uses the art context as a stage for her anti-performances, which show reluctance in methods of entertainment. Writing is the motor of her work – supported by the awkward body. Anna lives in Stockholm and has exhibited internationally at galleries and art centres including Gotlands Konstmuseum (with 0s+1s Collective), LARU Performance Festival in Helsinki and Maratón LODO in Buenos Aires. In 2015 her work was selected for the exhibition After Babel at Moderna Museet in Stockholm. Anna has studied Performative Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and received her MFA from the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm in 2013.
